The Decision
Who I am.
My name is Tammy. I work 40 hours a week at the daily grind most of us have to endure day in and day out. I have two kids who are now adults. I was a single mom for both of their lives. I tried to juggle school and work and family. Sometimes I did well, sometimes.. not so much. Through it all I struggled to make ends meet. To keep a roof over our heads and feed us. It took most of my adult life to finally finish College and get my AS then even longer to find a job and still I struggle to barely make ends meet. What made it easier was my child support. It took years but it was finally coming regularly and I grew to count on it. Then.. it stopped.
The last straw.
When I say stopped I don't mean slowly or when it was planned. Out of the blue. Poof.. no more. All gone. Fine'. Soooo not good. Rent was late, bank account was in the red. Apparently my ex got himself tossed in the slammer and he still owed me $15000 in arrears. It is now a month later for me. I re-budgeted, cut out all the extras and I'm still not sure how to make the money stretch. I had to do something NOW.
What came next.
I was browsing the net and a person can drown in all of the schemes and scams. One could go broke trying to get rich. I had fallen for those in my time but this time I wasn't going to do it. I started applying for jobs to see if I could find one better than where I was. Hopes faded and I became frustrated. Then I watched a video on Coffeehouse Millionaires. Again it was someone trying to sell me their blueprint to a better life. Still, in his introductory video I saw a website called Clickbank. Earlier in the year I had joined Amazon as an affiliate and occasionally I would put things on my Facebook I liked or wanted and I accidentally made about ten dollars. I started adding more things but realized it would be difficult to make anything of significant value and brushed the process off.
Now what.
Five days ago I started searching how to do Affiliate Marketing. I read blogs and websites and made my account at Clickbank who also had tips and tricks. How does someone without a website sell something?
This is my journey in discovering if being a Coffee House Millionaire is possible. How difficult it is and how long it takes.
